Antother day with the medical professionals has come and gone. Went to St Tammany Hospital to receive Blood platelets. It took a long 3 hours. We finally got out and on the way home at around 1 pm. Tomorrow will be blood draw and then Doctor's appointment with Dr Oubre at 3 pm. The blood work will tell if I can have the required dental work for the transplant to go forward.
A lot of folk continue to ask about being a donor for the Bone Marrow Transplant. The odds are just to great that anyone will be a match. Matches are only in in the 30% range. They have harvested my own stem cells and will use them to do the transplant. Everything is dependent on the PETSCAN taken yesterday, if the cancer has advanced then the transplant will not occur.
All else is fine here. Robbi is cutting grass and trying to stay busy. Needless to say keep the prayers coming. Will close for today.
