31 July 08

You guys will probably think we are crazy, but the military has nothing on the medical profession for hurry up and wait. At 3:15 this afternoon we left my Onocologist office ready to get the teeth work done Monday, and get on with the Transplant procedures. At 3:25 we got a phone call from Tulane. The PETSCAN showed reduction of the cancer, however Tulane wants me to go through another round of Chemo just to be sure. Chemo is scheduled out patient 11-14 August. How far this will back things up, I don't know. I just don't know what to think anymore, except that I am glad ya'll have all decided to take the journey with me via this blog. I got comments from Terry, Ronnie D, Carl & Diane Thompson. It means so much you just don't know!!! We are in good spirits and thankful for each day, God gives us, as well as thankful for each of you.

Hey Gary,
Got on line here with my first blog. Have to tell you that Debbie & I have been sending up many prayers for your speedy success which will happen. Updates were so difficult to get until this brainstorm made it happen. Looking forward to getting together again and sharing the laughs whenever its possible, the sooner the better. Still remember the last time which was when you and I showed up in Frank's office making faces while he was in a meeting. Will write more later. Keep getting better for all of us.
Love ya man,
Jim Rumpf

Hey Dude,

Got the word from Robbi via Vallie late this afternoon (around 1700). Called Granny on way home and gave her some preliminary info. Did not have dates. I really like this blogsite stuff once you figure it out.

Will send info to Scott tonight about blogsite. He has been in Arkanas. Will keep send you informaton via email from office.

Great news and we are really happy about today.

Tara and Dixie just left to go to local Dollar Store. Tara is really spoiling Dixie.

Love,

Terry

Glad to hear the good news. I had a dream last night and you were in it. You were healthy and up to your old tricks "Hacking" on all your old friends. Hang in there keep that positive attitude.

Hi there,

I was really glad to get the e-mail from Terry about this blog. It's a nice way to keep up with you and I'm sure that it helps you just by writing on it. I kind of did this when my mom was very sick but it was in a notebook.

I am glad that you see that you have not lost your sense of humor.

Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Love you! and Miss You!
