Robbi here. Just wanted to let those that don't yet know that I'm taking leave from teaching for now. I went in today and helped the new teacher get set up. I'm not sure when I'll be able to go back. That will depend on the transplant date and Gary's recovery. I think I'm going to miss teaching, but I have no desire to deal with the exhausting issues that so often occur. I am blessed to have this leave option, Please pray that the cancer will be gone before my leave is exhausted as I am just a year shy of being eligible for retirement.
Gary has had a very productive day while I was away. He's even cooked dinner! I know it's due to being almost a month post-chemo and taking the shot yesterday. Good days are to be used wisely.
Thanks for all the encouraging comments. You help keep us aware of what's up in the regular world out there!
Love to all, Robbi

Hey sir, I think I have figured this out so I would like to say hello and let you know we are thinking about you everyday, as it is hard not to when someone like you has loved us as much as you have. I miss our conversations about the old days so it is good to see you talk about the old fishing hole or the days when living was easy. We are still here so when you feel like visitors let us know we would love to come by and see what trouble we can get you in.

Hey bud, just read Robbi's info on school. Sue is buzzing around as I send this message trying to get her S__T together for day one. Sounds like you had a pretty good day. We'll keep praying and you keep getting better. Love ya dude.
Glad someone is accomplishing something today. I'm twice burned by 17 y/o pot heads and looking for a day off.
Trying to come see you Sunday, will call when I get solid info.
Love you.
Sounds like ya'll have a busy few days ahead with company, etc. Hope you have a great time. We are looking forward to time with the kids. Enjoy your weekend. We will be thinking of you.
Love ya

Robbi, I think you are doing the right thing by taking the time off. You have been really busy driving Gary from appointment to appointment. Next week will be really busy for all of you down there with the chemo. I am sure you will stay really busy thru the time he has to be in the hospital. You have been really supportative of Gary during his time of need and I really appreciate you for putting up with his stuff. Hang in there, I think we are primarily on the fast track now.
Please let us know what his schedule will be so Vallie and I can come down to visit. Our tentive plan is to come down and put Tara in LSU on the 21st. Then come to visit where ever you are (Tualane or at home). However, if need be I will come when ever you want.
Glad to hear Gary is cooking again. That is always inspiring. No, I am not going to cook supper because it probably would not be fit to eat. Gary is the only cook.
Love
Terry
